First Run at the track since having Intercooler pipes welded on ends to eliminate hoses blowing off. Hard to launch car without blowing
tires away due to very short gears (4.11’s). Shifting into 4th gear around the 1/8 mile. Was not locking coverter. 3150# race weight.

After some tuning and locking the TC before the launch, the car came on pretty strong. Need to work on lauch and manually shift the car on
the 2-3 AND 3-4 @ 5500RPM. Direct Scan file was a bit messy due to transmission shifting a little too soon (from being locked up). Plenty left in this car on the stock turbo, heads, cam, converter ect. Looking for
120mph+ on this motor before pulling this drivetrain to install 4.1 motor.

First run at the track since 08/07/02. Only change to car was the addition of a PTE-52 Turbo and homemade in-car boost adjuster. Car just
can not launch without boiling tires. Tried numerous launching techniques. Need to work on suspension, install linelock and trans-brake.

Last run of the night. Did some fueling adjustments for WOT. Didn’t adjust boost level all night. Was inpressed with the fact that the car
was running on about 102oct, 24º timing and 25psi. If I tried this in the heavy Buick it would scatter parts all the way down the track.

1st run of the night. Running different 3.8 motor and ‘loner’ transmission. Severe crossover pipe leak. Car wouldn’t spool on
the line at all. Short times greatly affected throughout the night. Forgot to lock TCC on this run. Half the run was at 15psi while I dialed the bleeder during the run. Raced a poor Z06 this run who went 12.925 but
only @ 113mph. Wish we had lined up later in the night :)

Last run of the night. Car can’t do burnout or spool on the line at all. Crossover pipe needs to be replaced. Transmission
hangs between 3-4th gear for about 1.5secs when shifting. Lot’s of issues to fix, lots of improvements to see. How did the car pickup .2 & 2MPH with 5psi LESS boost? Champion HEADS.
Now for a little bench racing: It could be speculated that 1.2seconds is being lost all in the launch. With a 1.6x launch the car ‘should’ be in the 10.90 range.

I only included this run because it contained the best 60 foot to date. The rest of this run was a wash due to chip problems.
Car still has all stock suspension with who knows what for shocks or springs. 17psi in Nittos. Zero boost launch @ 1800-2000RPM.

Buicks @ Bradenton Event. Made (4) back to back passes with little to no cool down period. Very strong head wind all day. EGT’s
were 1200º all day.. too much fuel or not enough boost. Transmission short shifts 1-2 @ WOT 4400RPM. This is the best pass to date, but I actually lifted before the finish line (this was a bracket event). Didn’t get
to make any quicker passes due to rain out. Pleased with the 4.1 !

Running C4 Vette differential with 2.59 gears. TurboII halfshafts. Clean pass low boost and low timing (21º). Also using MAF
Translator+ and Extender chip for tuning. More to follow!
